We stayed at the Hotel Benidorm City Olympia this week (September 2026) We had a good stay. The Location is great. It was clean. The staff we dealt with were very helpful and polite. Seems to have been recently decorated Beds were comfortable. Good Wi-Fi The room was quiet … (front of hotel, 5th floor) The hotel offers an upgrade balcony room for 20 euros a day … The best advice I can give it to upgrade if you can afford it. We were given room 307 (standard room) … We went to our room, the room was fine but it was quite a small room with a window that faces another window across the thin street. …… We decided to go straight back down to the reception and see if we could still upgrade, and the man behind the desk said it was ok, and gave us room 502 … This was a lot better, and well worth the upgrade cost. The new room was 502, and I suspect it is the best room in the hotel. Twice as big Had a sofa Had a big TV (not many channels) Had a large terrace/balcony Great view, being on the top floor … Over the roofs of old town and the mountain behind. ………………… The only downside we could find were …. Standard rooms are very basic. Our room was good, but the quality of the finish was lacking (but well above what we were expecting for the price) …… There is no fridge (this was a big downside for us) …. There is no safe in the room, you can rent lock box, but it is in a locked room that you have to get the receptionist to unlock the door so you can get to the lock box, so storing electronics or money is a hassle. Sure, there are better hotels in the old town, but for the money, I very much doubt this place can be beaten. …. Especially if you have our room.

Stayed here for a week from the 5 sept ,it was cheap and we didn’t know what to expect. We were very surprised to say the least ,it was spotless and the maids came every day .we stayed in room 503 on the top floor. Balcony wa great and the view over the town and mountains was fantastic . The people in reception where also very nice and helpful ,would definitely stay here again and that’s saying something as I’m very fussy

Our first time to Benidorm and we’ve loved it. The staff were friendly from our arrival and we took advantage of upgrading our room to one with a balcony (highly recommended). We came armed with ear plugs after reading the reviews, but honestly didn’t need them. The room was clean and had ample space. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was amazing, especially as we were seeing temperatures of 30+. We didn’t book for breakfast, as there are so many cafes right outside the hotel, so can’t comment, but we were able to add breakfast on the day, if we wanted. The hotel is ideally located and prime location. We didn’t see many children, but probably because they are staying in the hotels with pools and more family entertainment. If you are looking for friendly staff, a good location and cleanness, then this is a good choice. I’m basing this on our experience and we will definitely be back. The local bars, super markets, cafes have been great, the beach within walking distance, where we paid 18 euros for 2 sun loungers and a parasol for the day and it was a lovely day. We walked to the harbour and booked a boat tour to Calpe, although they do other trips too, so well worth a walk to enquire. Lovely little shops, coffee at €1.50 and beer at €2 you can’t go wrong.
